Review:  Trucks Roll! takes the reader along on a day in a trucker's life pointing out that many things we need and enjoy depend on truckers.  A large assortment of trucks rolls along the roads carrying both realistic and imaginary cargo.

The story, told in rhyme, describes the trucks, their cargo, and the stops they make: "Trucks have trailers./Trucks have cabs./Some haul rabbits./Some haul labs." (Labrador Retrievers).  The trucks also transport ice cream, giant chocolate-chip cookies, bulldozers, large puzzle pieces, and more.  Not only are the places trucks travel including deserts and mountains, but there are also the places trucks stop---for gas, at toll booths, and weigh stations.

Readers will want to spend time looking at the variety of trucks in Craig Fraizier’s vivid illustrations. His bold use of color and varied perspectives enhance the illustrations.
