Review: Modern adaptations of classic fairy tales have almost no limit in their creative plot twists and fresh design features. Watch Out For Wolfgang, an adaptation of The Three Little Pigs, fits nicely into this genre.  Mama robot has decided that her sons need to set out on their own, so she gives each robot some of her hard-earned money to buy his own factory, along with a word of caution to watch out for big nasty Wolfgang the Recycler.  Young readers will enjoy equating the sons’ character traits with their ability, or lack thereof, to outwit mean Wolfgang. With its use of robots, factories, and recycling as the main source of innovation from the original fairy tale, this amusing book presents a nice opportunity for parents and teachers to introduce young learners to the idea of capital resources and production.
