Review:  Max, an animal lover at heart, has started a pet sitting business that has attracted quite a few customers. The latest object of his caring efforts is a mischievous parrot aptly named Squawk. It’s a good thing that Max has a sense of humor and the ability to act quickly, because he needs both these traits to make it through the parrot’s antics and tricks.  He also needs a strong dose of courage when Squawk gets them both in the way of a frightening pirate named Becky Bones. Parents and teachers can use this new amusing book in the Pet Sitter series to encourage younger readers to think about jobs and services.
