Review:
Frank and Carl have a stall at the City Market, where they hope to sell hats, each priced at ten dollars. The trouble is that no one seems to want or need a hat, even when Frank and Carl lower the price. Even more frustrating, other vendors at the market have no problem selling their products, some as seemingly useless as a remote control robot cell phone. What will it take for Frank and Carl to attract customers in such a competitive environment?

This new picture book allows teachers and parents to introduce young readers to several economic concepts related to the interplay between supply and demand in the market. The cartoon-style illustrations add to the appeal and help to shape an important economics lesson into a catchy story for youngsters.
